Charles River Named Multi-Asset Trading System of the Year at 2018 Asia Capital Markets Awards

September 25, 2018

Melbourne — September 25, 2018 — Charles River Development has been awarded “Multi-asset Trading System of the Year” at this year’s Asia Capital Markets Awards hosted by FOW and Global Investor Group. Presented in Singapore on September 20, these awards are designed to recognise best achievement across the Asian buy-side capital market industries.

Charles River delivers multi-asset Order and Execution Management System (OEMS) capabilities, eliminating the need for multiple trading systems. The solution is part of Charles River’s front and middle office offering, the Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS). The OEMS incorporates trade analytics, advanced visualization, and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA). Traders can more efficiently find liquidity, execute trades across all asset classes and currencies, and demonstrate best execution to satisfy regulatory requirements.

“The challenging investment environment has seen asset managers looking for ways to diversify their offerings, resulting in significant growth in multi-asset products and strategies across the Asia Pacific region and globally,” said Cameron Field, Managing Director – Asia Pacific, Charles River. “The Charles River IMS helps buy-side firms to efficiently manage the implementation and support of all asset classes across geographies on a single platform.”

In 2018, Charles River has won several awards for portfolio management, trading and compliance, and was most recently named “Best Buy-Side Order Management System (OMS) Provider” at this year’s Waters Ranking Awards presented in New York.
