CEO and President

Spiros Giannaros

Spiros Giannaros is executive vice president at State Street Corporation, and CEO and President of Charles River Development, a State Street company. In this role, he is responsible for day-to-day operations of the company including product development, sales and services for the Charles River Investment Management Solution. Spiros also leads the design and buildout of the target state architecture for State Street Alpha^SM.

Most recently, Spiros was head of Platform Strategies at State Street. Prior to that, he served as the global head of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and a partner at IHS Markit (formerly Markit). In this role, he managed the firm’s EDM, warehouse and reporting businesses, software managed services, and the thinkFolio business, an order management and portfolio modeling system. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Spiros spent 15 years at Charles River Development, where he was a managing director for the Americas, vice president of Sales, sales executive and director of Pre-Sales. In these roles, he was responsible for sales, strategic account management and product marketing.

Spiros holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and marketing from Boston College. He sits on the Board of Directors for School the World and the Global Advisory Board for the State Street Professional Women’s Network (PWN). He is also a member of the Boston College Chief Executives Club.

Global Head of State Street Alpha℠

John Plansky

John Plansky is an executive vice president at State Street and oversees State Street Alpha℠, the industry’s first global front-to-back platform from a single provider, which integrates State Street’s back- and middle-office capabilities with CRD’s front-office expertise. John has a history of leading global operations, growing businesses and integrating teams with different capabilities and skill sets to produce better outcomes. He joined State Street from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he led the US Strategy and Global Platforms businesses. John was also a member of the PwC Advisory Financial Services leadership team. John has a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Brown University.

General Counsel and SVP, Global

André Bouchard

André Bouchard is a Senior Vice President at State Street and General Counsel of Charles River with responsibility for managing all of the legal affairs of Charles River, Mercatus, and their subsidiaries. Additionally, André has a role in defining and negotiating the integrated contract terms for State Street’s Alpha℠ services. Prior to joining Charles River, André was in-house counsel for divine Interventures and Open Market, Inc., and spent several years as a technical professional services implementation consultant for PeopleSoft. André holds a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.

Randy Bullard

Randy Bullard leads the Charles River Wealth Management business globally. He is responsible for the firm’s wealth product strategy and growth of the business with a heavy focus on client satisfaction. Before joining Charles River, Bullard served as General Manager of Wealth Management at SigFig and prior to that, founded Placemark Investments, a leading provider of wealth management programs and services for wealth management firms across the US and Canada.

Head of Client Management

Ruby Chiu

Ruby Chiu is the Head of Client Management for Charles River Development (CRD), a State Street Company. Ruby is responsible for leading and overseeing CRD client relationships. Her global team focuses on client satisfaction and exceptional client service delivery, serving as trusted advisors for existing and prospective clients. Ruby is a member of CRD’s Management and Operating Committees and is based out of corporate headquarters in Burlington, MA.

Prior to joining Charles River in 2020, Ruby spent over 16 years at BlackRock as a senior leader within the Aladdin Client Engagement business, most recently as Head of Relationship Management for Insurance Asset Managers and Head of Relationship Management for US East Asset Managers. Prior to BlackRock, Ruby worked within Citigroup’s Global Telecommunications Investment Banking division. She earned her BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Chief Revenue Officer

Matt Daly

Matt Daly is the Chief Revenue Officer at Charles River Development, responsible for client success and driving growth through all channels. He oversees client management, sales, delivery and business development globally for Charles River. He is also a member of Charles River’s senior strategy and policy-making team and is actively involved with large scale client transformations including deployments of State Street Alpha℠.

Matt is a senior leader with a strong track record in delivering enterprise front and mid-office solutions that help buy-side financial institutions grow their business, lower risk and increase operational efficiency. He specializes in partnering with C-Level executives, both business and technical, to define and deliver a solution tailored to their business objectives. Matt’s background includes 15+ years of product management and sales experience, providing a keen understanding of asset managers’ business challenges and how to solve them.

Cem Er

Cem leads Charles River’s private wealth product management team and provides direction and thought leadership for wealth management-related functionality, including modeling and optimization. Cem has been with the company for 13 years and has worked in many parts of Charles River IMS, including the portfolio management and FX trading areas. Before joining Charles River, Cem was a Head Trader and Portfolio Manager at Cobblestone Capital Advisors. Cem holds an MBA in Finance and Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a CFA charter holder.

SaaS Ops & Support

Dmitriy Ilyin

Dmitriy Ilyin oversees all Charles River SaaS and Technical Support teams globally. In addition, Dmitriy leads Charles River’s continuing transition to Microsoft® Azure and will help shape the firm’s strategic cloud direction and growth strategy. Prior to joining Charles River in 2020, Dmitriy led the Technical Operations team at Intralinks, a FinTech provider for M&A services, where he transformed the operations support organization into the site reliability engineering discipline and built global follow-the-sun operations centers to support a hybrid data center-based and public cloud model. He also developed an ITSM practice focused on driving operational excellence.

Tim Kelly

Tim Kelly joined Charles River in 1999 and oversees Charles River’s product management, program management, and user experience functions. Tim provides strategic leadership for the product strategy, roadmap planning, requirements, design and development of Charles River’s enterprise front and middle office platform. Previously, Tim held management positions at Cadence Design Systems and Teradyne. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.

SVP/Global Head of Cloud Strategy & Engineering, State Street Alpha

Kishore Kottapalli

Kishore is a senior vice president at State Street Corporation and global head of cloud strategy, engineering and operations for Charles River Development and State Street Alpha. He is responsible for shaping the firm’s cloud strategy and oversees architecture, engineering, deployment and ongoing operations of the several platforms that constitute Alpha Cloud – the Global SaaS Platform, Alpha Data Platform and Cloud-Native Services.

Kishore began his career at State Street in 1998 and is an experienced Development and Operations financial technologist. Kishore has led several initiatives at State Street including Global Production Operations, Development Operations, IT Operations Automation, Application Resiliency Engineering, IT Transformation Programs (Private Cloud / Large-Scale Databases) and Information Delivery Development and Continuous Improvement programs.

Head of the Americas & Global Head of Delivery

Dean Landis

Dean Landis leads Charles River Development in the Americas and is also the Global Head of Delivery. In his capacity as Managing Director of North America, he has overall responsibility for relationship management, delivery and business development that includes achieving the regions growth targets and ensuring the success of our customers. In his capacity as the Global Head of Delivery he is responsible leading the professional services, technical support, compliance advisory and training teams.

Prior to joining Charles River Dean was a leader in the Capital Markets consulting practice of SunGard and a management consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University.

Erica McGillicuddy

As a strategic partner, Erica provides Human Resources leadership for Charles River. Erica joined Charles River in 2019 after spending 5 years at State Street leading Learning and Talent Management teams. Prior to her time at State Street, Erica has spent the last 20 years in various Human Resources leadership roles in the financial services, staffing, and healthcare industries. Erica holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in Human Resources from Northeastern University.

Front Office

Steven Milanowycz

Steve has been with Charles River for over 14 years and in his current role oversees the development of Portfolio Management and Trading-related modules within the Charles River IMS. Prior to his current role Steve was mandated with the development of the latest version of Manager Workbench portfolio management application. Earlier in his time at Charles River, he led pre-sales efforts in the Americas as a senior sales engineer. Prior to joining Charles River, Steven was a business analyst at DST International, and an investment consultant at UBS. Steven holds a BS in Finance from Lehigh University – College of Business and Economics.

Managing Director, EMEA

Caroline O’Shaughnessy

Caroline leads Charles River Development in EMEA and is responsible for all business oversight and collaboration with State Street Alpha, State Street’s global front to back-office platform. Caroline joined from The London Stock Exchange Group where she was Chief Client Officer and Global Head of Sales and Marketing of Information Services Division and Group Head of The Global Strategic Account Programme.

Caroline has more than 25 years of experience in high revenue growth businesses including senior global commercial roles with DTCC (Depository Trust Clearing Co), Thomson Reuters and Interactive Data. Caroline is passionate about Culture, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives as a powerful source of business innovation and growth. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham.

Chief Operating Officer

Chris Russo

As Chief Operating Officer, Chris oversees Charles River’s SaaS & Support, Business Controls, and IT organizations as well as key initiatives including Return to Office and realty. Most recently, Chris was Global Head of Professional Services for Enterprise Data Management (EDM), thinkFolio, iLEVEL and Wall Street Office (WSO), serving as vice president at IHS Markit.  In this role, he was responsible for professional services and training and was a member of the Solutions division executive team responsible for P&L ownership and setting strategic direction.  Chris was also the executive sponsor for the Belonging, and Inclusion working groups.

Prior to joining IHS Markit, Chris has worked within the FinTech space for much of his career, including Charles River Development, Citisoft, Omgeo and Thomson Financial.

Head of Engineering

Manish Shah

Manish Shah is the Head of Engineering, responsible for the development of the Charles River and Alpha product portfolio including its evolution to next-generation architecture and cloud-native services. He is a senior leader with a strong track record in building and leading high-performing, empowered, and disciplined engineering organizations to deliver new business capabilities to market faster with quality, scalability, security, elasticity, and resiliency.

Before joining Charles River, Manish led an engineering organization in Cisco’s Collaboration Technology Group. He was responsible for the development of complex, geographically redundant, highly available customer collaboration application solutions. Subsequently, he drove the development and deployment of next-generation SaaS application solutions. As an experienced professional in culture transformation, he won the prestigious Pioneer Award in recognition of building a high-performance agile organization producing high-quality software and achieving 6x productivity gains.

In addition, Manish has held numerous leadership and software developer roles in technology companies. Manish earned an MS in Computer Systems Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.

Chief Product Officer

Nidhi Singh

As Chief Product Officer, Nidhi oversees product management and product marketing for Charles River. In this role, she is responsible for the ongoing expansion and execution of our product portfolio and development team, as well as the transformation of our offering to cloud services. Prior to joining Charles River, Nidhi led global technology and operations at Broadridge and held key senior leadership roles at tier one banks and fintech firms including Goldman Sachs and Trading Technologies. She brings over two decades of product development experience in financial markets and has led several successful large-scale transformation initiatives. She holds a BS in Economics from Purdue University and a Masters, Financial Markets/Engineering, from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director

Ilan Weinberg

Ilan Weinberg is the chief financial officer at Charles River Development. He is responsible for the Finance operations of the company as well as leading the global FP&A and Financial Operations teams. With over two decades experience, primarily in the software industry, Ilan has held various leadership positions prior to Charles River, including as a Global Director of Finance at Dell EMC and Deputy Divisional CFO at Citrix Systems. Ilan has started his career at PwC, in the Washington Consulting Practice.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the College of William and Mary, and MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
