President and Chief Executive Officer
Spiros Giannaros is an executive vice president at State Street Corporation and president and chief executive officer of Charles River Development. Spiros has taken a lead role in driving Alpha to cloud computing and delivering on inter-operability commitments. He is also leading the development of State Street’s innovative platform offerings, including enterprise data management, warehousing and data delivery. Prior to joining State Street, he served as a Partner at IHS Markit (formerly Markit), where he was responsible for the firm’s EDM, warehouse and reporting businesses, software managed services, and the thinkFolio business, an order management and portfolio modeling system. Spiros holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston College.
Global Head of State Street Alpha℠
John Plansky is an executive vice president at State Street and oversees State Street Alpha℠, the industry’s first global front-to-back platform from a single provider, which integrates State Street’s back- and middle-office capabilities with CRD’s front-office expertise. John has a history of leading global operations, growing businesses and integrating teams with different capabilities and skill sets to produce better outcomes. He joined State Street from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he led the US Strategy and Global Platforms businesses. John was also a member of the PwC Advisory Financial Services leadership team. John has a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Brown University.
Chief Administration Officer, Alpha
Stacy Belf is the Chief Administration Officer for State Street Bank’s Alpha division, supporting the execution of the Firm’s key front-to-back strategy through various management programs and initiatives. As the Alpha CAO, Stacy oversees various administrative aspects of the business, including executive management reporting, human capital management, facilities and realty, and COVID response/return-to-office, among others. Stacy joined State Street in January 2015, initially serving as the Volcker Compliance Officer for the Firm and then leading risk initiatives in the Alternative Investment Solutions business before joining Charles River Development. Prior to joining State Street, Stacy served the previous eight years as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in Massachusetts and Maryland. Stacy obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University Of Virginia School Of Law and her Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Auburn University. Stacy is originally from the Washington, DC area.
Randy Bullard leads the Charles River Wealth Management business globally. He is responsible for the firm’s wealth product strategy and growth of the business with a heavy focus on client satisfaction. Before joining Charles River, Bullard served as General Manager of Wealth Management at SigFig and prior to that, founded Placemark Investments, a leading provider of wealth management programs and services for wealth management firms across the US and Canada.
Head of Americas
As Head of Americas, Matt oversees sales, client management, product marketing, and business development for Charles River. Matt joined the firm in 2004 and has held both sales and product roles within the company. Through these positions, he has had a strategic role in helping to expand Charles River’s Americas organization and client base. Matt previously held consultant and technology positions at Accenture and OM Technology and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
Cem leads Charles River’s private wealth product management team and provides direction and thought leadership for wealth management-related functionality, including modeling and optimization. Cem has been with the company for 13 years and has worked in many parts of Charles River IMS, including the portfolio management and FX trading areas. Before joining Charles River, Cem was a Head Trader and Portfolio Manager at Cobblestone Capital Advisors. Cem holds an MBA in Finance and Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a CFA charter holder.
Cameron Field oversees the firm’s Asia-Pacific region. Since joining Charles River in 2000, Cameron has helped establish and grow both European and Asia-Pacific operations. Previously, Cameron served in management roles at Macintosh Hamson Hoare Govett, Bankers Trust Australia, ANZ Treasury, Princeton Financial Systems, and State Street Australia Ltd. Cameron graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and holds a BBus in Business Banking and Finance from Monash University.
SaaS Ops & Support
Dmitriy Ilyin oversees all Charles River SaaS and Technical Support teams globally. In addition, Dmitriy leads Charles River’s continuing transition to Microsoft® Azure and will help shape the firm’s strategic cloud direction and growth strategy. Prior to joining Charles River in 2020, Dmitriy led the Technical Operations team at Intralinks, a FinTech provider for M&A services, where he transformed the operations support organization into the site reliability engineering discipline and built global follow-the-sun operations centers to support a hybrid data center-based and public cloud model. He also developed an ITSM practice focused on driving operational excellence.
Head of Product Management
Tim Kelly joined Charles River in 1999 and oversees Charles River’s product management, program management, and user experience functions. Tim provides strategic leadership for the product strategy, roadmap planning, requirements, design and development of Charles River’s enterprise front and middle office platform. Previously, Tim held management positions at Cadence Design Systems and Teradyne. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
Head of Delivery,
Dean Landis is a senior vice president at State Street Corporation and Global Head of Delivery of Charles River Development. In this role, he is responsible for leading the professional services, technical support, compliance advisory and training teams. Dean joined the firm in 2013 as a Director in the Americas where he focused on helping expand Charles River’s services organization while overseeing strategic client relationships, deployments and upgrades. Dean was previously a leader in the Capital Markets consulting practice of SunGard and a management consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University.
Gerald Lilly provides strategic leadership to Charles River’s engineering organization. Gerald previously served in design and development roles at OneSource and Microsoft. Since joining Charles River in 2004 as a Principal Software Engineer, Gerald has led teams and directed initiatives in all areas of software engineering. Gerald previously served in design and development roles at OneSource and Microsoft. He holds a BSCHE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
As a strategic partner, Erica provides Human Resources leadership for Charles River. Erica joined Charles River in 2019 after spending 5 years at State Street leading Learning and Talent Management teams. Prior to her time at State Street, Erica has spent the last 20 years in various Human Resources leadership roles in the financial services, staffing, and healthcare industries. Erica holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in Human Resources from Northeastern University.
Steve has been with Charles River for over 14 years and in his current role oversees the development of Portfolio Management and Trading-related modules within the Charles River IMS. Prior to his current role Steve was mandated with the development of the latest version of Manager Workbench portfolio management application. Earlier in his time at Charles River, he led pre-sales efforts in the Americas as a senior sales engineer. Prior to joining Charles River, Steven was a business analyst at DST International, and an investment consultant at UBS. Steven holds a BS in Finance from Lehigh University – College of Business and Economics.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Chris oversees Charles River’s SaaS & Support, Business Controls, and IT organizations as well as key initiatives including Return to Office and realty. Most recently, Chris was Global Head of Professional Services for Enterprise Data Management (EDM), thinkFolio, iLEVEL and Wall Street Office (WSO), serving as vice president at IHS Markit. In this role, he was responsible for professional services and training and was a member of the Solutions division executive team responsible for P&L ownership and setting strategic direction. Chris was also the executive sponsor for the Belonging, and Inclusion working groups.
Prior to joining IHS Markit, Chris has worked within the FinTech space for much of his career, including Charles River Development, Citisoft, Omgeo and Thomson Financial.
