Charles River Wins Best Buyside Order Management System (OMS) at Waters Ranking 2018
July 26, 2018
Boston — July 26, 2018 — Charles River Development has won “Best Buyside Order Management System (OMS)” at this year’s Waters Ranking Awards. Presented in New York on July 12, the awards are selected by end users across the financial services spectrum.
Charles River combines traditional OMS (Order Management System) and EMS (Execution Management System) capabilities into an Order and Execution Management System (OEMS) to eliminate the need for multiple trading systems. Traders can manage trade execution strategies, streamline complex workflows and monitor the markets from one interface, saving time and reducing the risk of trading errors. The OEMS is a fundamental component within the Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS), which supports the entire investment lifecycle on a single platform, from portfolio and risk management through trading and post-trade settlement, with integrated compliance management throughout.
“Helping buy-side firms access global liquidity and make better informed investment decisions are major benefits of the Charles River IMS,” said Tom Driscoll, Managing Director, Global, Charles River. “With a combined OEMS, investment managers improve trade execution quality, increase productivity, and reduce operational risk.”
Charles River has won a number of awards for portfolio management, trading and compliance, and was recently named “Best Portfolio Management Solution” at this year’s WealthBriefing Asia Awards. Waters Ranking is a widely respected industry awards program organized by Waters Technology.
