Charles River® News & Updates
It’s hard to believe that 2022 is coming to a close, and I wanted to share some upcoming events we have planned for you. We just launched our third annual client survey to get your feedback on our products, services, and strategies. These surveys are part of our commitment and continued focus on enhancing your experience with Charles River. As in previous years, we will share those results with you and show how your feedback is helping to inform our product strategy and roadmap. You should have received an email from us within the last week. If you did not, please reach out to your Client Manager. Responses are due back to us no later than December 9 – as always, we thank you for taking the time to participate.
With the return of in-person meetings and industry events, we’ve been able to meet with many of you in person and look forward to more of the same in 2023. While we welcome this direct collaboration, we have heard from you that you appreciate the additional touchpoints provided by virtual events, so we plan to continue our program of Explore and Learn webinars, product roundtables, and Client Connect.
The next Client Connect events will take place on December 1 for AMRS and EMEA and December 8 for APAC. We just announced the agenda, which was developed with feedback from you on the topics and product areas you most want to hear about. Our CEO, Spiros Giannaros, will kick off the event with a Corporate Update followed by State Street Global Market’s Lee Ferridge, who will provide a macro outlook for 2023, and whether this is a time for optimism after the last few years of geopolitical uncertainty and turmoil. You’ll also hear about leveraging capabilities from our Partner Ecosystem, including FundGuard, Rimes, and Factset, addressing challenges and opportunities within private markets, how institutional managers can improve model management and distribution within wealth channels, and more.
In other news, we announced two additions to our Partner Ecosystem. DirectBooks helps optimize primary issuance of fixed income securities and FundGuard will allow clients to consolidate multiple books of record. We were also honored to win two awards from WatersTechnology Asia for “Best Front Office Platform” (Charles River IMS) and “Best Managed Data Service Provider” (State Street Alpha℠).
As the year wraps up and we enter the holiday season, I want thank all of our clients for your continued engagement and partnership with Charles River. We’re looking forward to 2023 and continued collaboration with you. Happy Holidays to you, your families, and friends from all of us at Charles River.
