Charles River Development Wins Buy-Side Technology’s “Best Buy-Side OMS” and “Best Integrated Front-Office Platform” Awards for 3rd Consecutive Year
Single, consolidated platform streamlines workflows and lowers costs and risks for buy-side firms
Boston, Beijing, London, Melbourne, New York, Paris, Singapore and Tokyo – October 20, 2009 – Charles River Development, a front- and middle-office software solutions provider for investment firms, today announced that the Buy-Side Technology Awards 2009 has named the Charles River Investment Management System (Charles River IMS) “Best Buy-Side Order Management System” and “Best Integrated Front-Office Platform” for the third consecutive year.
“Once again, these awards validate Charles River IMS as the leading investment management solution for buy-side firms – across all asset classes, currencies and countries,” said Peter Lambertus, President and Chief Executive Officer, Charles River Development. “Our continued R&D investment helps buy-side firms improve trading efficiency, streamline operations and comply with growing regulatory requirements through a single, consolidated platform.”
Judges for the Buy-Side Technology Awards 2009 included leading buy-side-focused technology consultancy firms. These experts selected Charles River based on performance and innovation in the areas of integrated order management and execution management capabilities, portfolio management, derivatives support, real-time pre- and post-trade compliance, and global FIX trading.
The two Buy-Side Technology awards follow Charles River’s recent recognition for “Best Risk Management System” by the AsianInvestor 2009 Service Provider Awards.
