Funds Europe Awards Charles River European Front Office IT Company of the Year
Excerpt from Funds Europe highlighting the publications’ selection of Charles River as the European Front Office IT Company of the Year.
In the front office IT section of the awards, all judges agreed on two key selection criteria that were deemed to be most topical -- a system’s ability to deliver market access, and its ability to handle derivative instruments. Globalization and a single platform were two other important factors.
One judge said: “We are seeing more and more firms moving onto a single platform and Charles River seems to be the market leader.” Its geographical reach also went in Charles River’s favor. It was said that firms in the sector tend to “leap frog” over each other year-on-year in terms of innovation and delivery. Charles River, though, was noted for its consistency.
