Innovate '08 Showcases Tech Solutions for Market Challenges  

Despite budget considerations facing buy-side firms due to current market conditions, more than 475 attendees representing over 140 firms from 11 countries participated in Innovate ’08, Charles River Development’s 9th Annual Client Conference.  Participants at the two- and a half-day event held October 19 – 22 in Orlando, Florida, focused on key industry trends and anticipated regulatory requirements.

Through over 60 presentations, client panels, roundtable discussions and hands-on training, attendees addressed industry trends and learned about current and future product capabilities. Highlights included: a wealth management track; a trading track discussing liquidity trends and Charles River’s algorithmic trading and execution management capabilities; and a compliance track featuring industry guest speakers and a special series of focus groups.
