Tom Driscoll
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Tom Driscoll joined Charles River in 1994 as the firm delivered its first commercial software application for the investment management community and has helped to grow Charles River’s client base to over 245 clients. In his present position, Tom is focused on global sales and business development efforts. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Pan American Enterprises, a venture firm, and also managed sales, marketing, and client services for Greystone Technology. Tom holds a BS in electrical engineering and finance from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MS in computer engineering from Northeastern University.
Stephen Engdahl
Director, Product Management
Steve Engdahl is Director, Product Management and leads a team of product and industry experts dedicated to identifying and driving new product, service, and functionality enhancement initiatives. His current focus is on improving trade execution management, straight through processing (STP), and the integration of third party interfaces with Charles River IMS. Previously, Steve was VP, Product Management and Marketing at CheckFree Corporation where he directed product management, product strategy, and strategic marketing for CheckFree’s reconciliation, compliance, and financial messaging products. He worked in similar roles at T. Rowe Price Associates and in the Trust and Investment Services Division of M&T Bank. Steve holds a BA from Cornell University.
Cameron Field
Managing Director, Asia-Pacific
In his position as Managing Director of Charles River's Asia-Pacific operations, Cameron Field oversees the firm's business development, sales, marketing, technical support, and product implementation services in the region. Cameron joined Charles River in March 2000 with the charter to establish and grow the firm's European sales and marketing operations, and shortly thereafter was asked to expand his territory and assume the role of Managing Director Sales & Marketing for EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining Charles River, Cameron worked in the Short Term Money Market at Macintosh Hamson Hoare Govett, Bankers Trust Australia and ANZ Treasury. He began in financial services with State Street Australia Ltd, followed by Princeton Financial Systems in Sydney and later in London. A graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Cameron holds a bachelor of business banking and finance from Monash University in Melbourne.
Spiros Giannaros
Vice President, Sales, Americas
Spiros Giannaros joined Charles River in 1999 as the firm emerged as a leader of compliance and order management solutions. Giannaros has directly contributed to establishing a sales engineering team, and expanding global sales. In his current capacity, Giannaros is responsible for driving the adoption of Charles River's technology and services in North America, South America, Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to Charles River, Giannaros worked in product specialist and sales roles in the investment software division of Thomson Financial. Giannaros holds a BS in finance and marketing from Boston College.
Robert Hathaway
Vice President, Engineering
Bob Hathaway has over 20 years of experience in system design, distributed systems, and scalable architectures and is responsible for the architecture, development, and delivery of Charles River's software products. Prior to joining Charles River, Bob held Vice President of Engineering positions at Cerulean, GigaNet, and FTP Software. He received his BS in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Peter Lambertus
President and Chief Executive Officer
Pete Lambertus founded Charles River Development in 1984 and serves as the firm's President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Pete worked in Stone & Webster's nuclear engineering and computer systems department for 13 years and served as a Lieutenant for the U.S. Nuclear Navy. A registered Professional Engineer, he received a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
Kevin Smith
Vice President, Client Services
Kevin Smith is responsible for managing client relationships post implementation consisting of consulting services and technical support. Kevin joined Charles River as a Manager of Implementation Services in 2000. In October 2002, he was promoted to Director, Client Services and assumed his current role as Vice President in December 2006. He holds a BS in finance from Bentley College.
Jon Steward
Managing Director, EMEA
As Managing Director, EMEA, Jon oversees the firm’s business development, sales, marketing, technical support and product implementation services in the region. Jon has over 20 years executive management experience at leading financial IT companies in the UK, America and Asia. Prior to joining Charles River, Jon served as Deputy CEO at GLTrade and was President of NYFIX Overseas, Inc. Jon studied Business Management at Middlesex University.
David Weber
Chief Financial Officer
In addition to overseeing the finance, accounting, human resources, and legal departments, Dave plays a strategic operational management role at Charles River. With 17 years of financial and operational management experience, Dave has held various financial and management roles, including VP of Worldwide and International Finance & Operations for Sybase, CFO at Context Integration, and Senior VP at eForce managing East Coast Consulting Operations. He received a BS in Economics from Purdue University.
