Trading Derivatives in Charles River Investment Management System

This one-day course delivered using Charles River V8.2.2 provides a hands-on introduction to the trading of derivatives in Charles River in both the Blotter and Manager Workbench. Each section includes discussions of configuration, typical workflows and exercises to provide hands-on experience with Charles River IMS.

 

Who Should Attend?

This class is intended for portfolio managers, traders or trading operations staff who need to set up or trade and settle derivatives in the Charles River Investment Management System. Technical support, operations and project team members can benefit from this course.

 

Course Prerequisites

  • Introduction to the Charles River Investment Management System
  • Using and configuring the Blotter (Charles River Trader)
  • Fundamentals of Manager Workbench

 

This course assumes the user is familiar with basic Charles River functions and with the derivative asset type. Users with experience using the system may waive this requirement.

Powering Up for Version 9

This two-day course will focus on V9’s technical infrastructure. Through discussion and hands-on exercises, the course will introduce: the newly-redesigned System Administration and Web Administration user interfaces, new system administration privileges, new user authentication options, hardware requirements, upgrade planning and strategies, and more.

 

Who Should Attend?

This class is intended for system administrators, project managers, technical support staff and anyone else who is involved with configuring and upgrading the Charles River Investment Management System.

  • Introduction to the Charles River Investment Management System

 

This course assumes the user is familiar with basic Charles River functions.
