Senior QA Automation Engineer (Silktest)
We are currently looking for a Sr. QA Engineer to perform automated testing of the Charles River investment products. You will work in close cooperation with CRD's developers, product manager, and account managers to ensure product quality and client satisfaction. We employ 130+ of the top developers and QA professionals in the industry so this is an opportunity to work with a very senior team in a fast paced environment.
Requirements:
- Apply verification and validation methods to improve and ensure the quality of Charles River Development’s product suite.
- Perform quality assurance tests on the Charles River Investment Management System and ComplianceMaster software products.
- Develop automated and manual GUI test cases.
- Run daily functional GUI regression suites on local machines and analyze results from lab machines.
- Perl and shell scripting while testing in both UNIX and Windows/NT environments.
- Influence the development of new features and improve product usability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BSCS or BSEE degree or equivalent from a top-rated engineering school.
- Ideally 5-7 years post-graduation work experience in Quality Assurance testing.
- Knowledge of SQL : relational database experience
- Strong programming skills to be able to develop automation scripts effectively.
- Experience with SilkTest highly desirable. Otherwise, experience with a similar tool for test automation.
- Experience testing in Java, C#, .NET, and web services environments is ideal.
- Knowledge of Perl and shell scripting, as well as UNIX and Windows/NT OS.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
