We are currently in need of a Sr. Business Analyst who will contribute to the product development of the Charles River Compliance product.

Responsibilities:

• Develop rules for global regulatory compliance rule library
  
• Lead requirements gathering sessions to gather business and technical requirements
  
• Create business requirements documentation, functional specifications, use cases
  
• Coordinate with engineering to develop proposed solutions that meet requirements
  
• Develop initial UI / design, process / workflow maps, and test requirements
  
• Verify that the resulting solution meets requirements
  
• Provide input to documentation, quality assurance, and training departments
  
• Provide product expertise support to various internal parties

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors degree. Masters Degree in financial or technical field a strong plus
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in investment compliance either with a software vendor or at an investment firm
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in systems analysis developing and delivering software applications
  
• Solid understanding of software product development lifecycle
• Strong analytical skills
  
• Strong technical and architectural background (n-tiered application, DBMS experience preferred)
  
• Strong individual contributor with high motivation, and the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance
  
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, ability to work with many internal and external parties
  
• Experience with a rule-based software system a strong plus
  
• Background in portfolio management and trading system applications a strong plus.
