We are currently in need of a Product Specialist / Business Analyst for Fixed Income.
The Product Specialist is a member of the QA team and is considered a product expert. They are responsible for testing the product from an end-user perspective. The role entails heavy interaction with clients spec-ing new product features, manually testing the features within the context of the trading workflows and working with the customer to elicit feedback on the features’ functionality and quality. At the same time, the role supports the in-house Account Implementation Management, Development and Technical Support teams, providing business level support on complex issues.

Responsibilities:
- Detailed knowledge and experience in domestic and international Fixed Income trading workflows.
- Firm understanding of Fixed Income securities, especially Corporate Bonds, Commercial Paper, and Asset Backed securities.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international derivative strategies and analytics.
- Prior experience trading fixed income securities.
- Experience with US and non-US securities and market structures.
- Knowledge of risk management.
- Hands-on experience working with financial software such as Reuters or Bloomberg.
- Strong financial analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Both domestic and international travel may be required (rarely).
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Finance (or a related field), or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with five years relevant work experience. CFA is ideal.
- Broad experience and knowledge of investment management applications. A background in portfolio management and trading system applications is a plus.
