The Program Manager will facilitate the delivery of CR-IMS maintenance and functional product releases as defined by senior management and Product Management. They will create and update top level project plans and schedules using MS Project; and develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources. Coordinate and report activities of project teams to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget. The Program Manager will provide leadership to project team members throughout the project life cycle.
The Program Manager will also provide weekly status reports to the senior management and key project stakeholders; prepare a variety of periodic and ad hoc reports for technical management and business groups; and distribute project-related data and documentation as appropriate, including project status reports. The ProgramManager is also responsible for developing and maintaining project and methodology documentation. He/she are also responsible for promoting, tracking, adherence by all project team members to the defined methodologies (i.e., product specifications, test plans, standards, unit tests, automation tests, code reviews, etc...).
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Experience and education financial services
- Track record of project delivery from conception to product launch
- Background in Agile (or similar) product methodology techniques
- Strong project management skills and solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- The ability to foster strong working relationships between project teams, user communities, management, and vendors
- The ability to manage multiple project plans concurrently and prioritize tasks appropriately under changing conditions
- Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and expectations while ensuring overall quality of delivery
- Confidence in preparing and delivering presentations to small and large groups.
