IT Associate
As a helpdesk/ IT Associate, you will provide 1st level support to the Charles River internal/remote employees for software, hardware and telecommunications related issues. Primary responsibilities will be troubleshooting Windows XP and Office applications, basic end user networking issues, printer setup, installing and configuring end user laptops and desktops, and phone system administration.
Responsibilities:
- Systems and application installation, desktop and server machine builds,
- Detecting, diagnosing, and resolving workstation and application problems
- Participate in hardware and network troubleshooting as needed
- Supporting vpn client software and remote connectivity
- Share in rotating on call beeper coverage
Requirements:
- Very strong interpersonal skills and customer satisfaction focus
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Windows of XP Pro and MS Office
- Solid understanding of Windows and TCP/IP networking
Qualifications:
- 2+ years supporting systems and performing Helpdesk/IT Support activities primarily in a Windows, TCP/IP networking environment
