TECHNOLOGY – SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION & MIDDLE TIER

This course offers both high-level and detailed information on System Administration covering user privileges, installation options, user groups, workflow design, system parameters and batch processing, among others.  In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to configure the Middle Tier through discussion and hands-on practice.

This course includes discussions and exercises focusing on workflow design and common implementation issues.  It is recommended that at least one user who has a full understanding of the business requirements attend this course, even if this user will not be administering the system.

Japanese Equity Trading Workflows and Enhancements
Charles River has added multiple enhancements to version 8.2 to meet the requirements and workflow of traders in Japanese equities. A new Multiple Order Placement window has been introduced, allowing the trader to place multiple FIX and non-FIX orders at the same time, save pending placements, and perform Cross Trade Checks and Trader Placement checks on these orders at the time of placement. These new features will be presented in a live demonstration, and Charles River Product Management will conduct a discussion in which Clients will be encouraged to provide feedback on these enhancements and on other requirements specific to the Japanese Market.
