Senior Business Analyst (Compliance)

We are currently in need of a Sr. Business Analyst who will contribute to the product development of the Charles River Compliance product.

Responsibilities:

Develop rules for global regulatory compliance rule library
Lead requirements gathering sessions to gather business and technical requirements
Create business requirements documentation, functional specifications, use cases
Coordinate with engineering to develop proposed solutions that meet requirements
Develop initial UI / design, process / workflow maps, and test requirements
Verify that the resulting solution meets requirements
Provide input to documentation, quality assurance, and training departments
Provide product expertise support to various internal parties

Minimum Bachelors degree. Masters Degree in financial or technical field a strong plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in investment compliance either with a software vendor or at an investment firm
Minimum 2 years of experience in systems analysis developing and delivering software applications
Solid understanding of software product development lifecycle
Strong analytical skills
Strong technical and architectural background (n-tiered application, DBMS experience preferred)
Strong individual contributor with high motivation, and the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, ability to work with many internal and external parties
Experience with a rule-based software system a strong plus
Background in portfolio management and trading system applications a strong plus.
